e-CCA Programme (3)

The programme below outlines the e-CCA programme from 18 October to 29 October.

Accountability, Attitude and Ability.

We have spoken on the above in Term 2, but yet we keep finding ourselves having to remind you so very often, especially about accountability. In order to make it more explicit, we have listed the following examples of accountability during e-CCA. We expect you to demonstrate these behaviours consistently.

For Zoom sessions:

(those who are vaccinated within V+14 days are to attend but do not need to participate)

  • Familiarise with the Zoom activities 1 day beforehand.

  • Inform teachers if you are going to be absent with valid reasons in the morning of the Zoom session.

  • Prepare attire, equipment, water bottle and any other items necessary for Zoom session 10 minutes beforehand.

  • Set up Zoom device with the correct camera angle, at a place with good reception 10 minutes beforehand.

  • Connect to Zoom with the proper naming convention (e.g. L3 Zen Teo) 5 minutes beforehand.

  • Turn on video and audio, mute microphone when connected.

  • Keep video on throughout, participate with 100% effort, hydrate during rest.

  • Pay attention to feedback given to others and check if it is applicable to yourself.

  • Pay attention to debrief by teachers and coach, and ask questions, if any.

  • Cool down and hydrate after the Zoom session. Keep equipment in its proper place.

For self-training sessions:

(those who are vaccinated within V+14 days do not need to do self-training)

  • Familiarise with the self-training activities 1 day beforehand.

  • Inform parents of your whereabouts if you need to leave your home.

  • Prepare attire, equipment, water bottle and any other items necessary for self-training.

  • Warm up sufficiently before commencing the self-training.

  • Observe safety protocols for yourselves and others who may be around you.

  • Rest and hydrate as required or as necessary.

  • If you do not feel well, stop and inform your parents immediately.

  • Cool down and hydrate after the self-training.

  • Clear up all equipment, including any litter, before leaving the area.

"Maturity is not when we start doing BIG things. It is when we start doing SMALL things well."

Instead of demanding trust and freedom from your parents, this is the perfect time to practice independence and show, not just to the teachers and coach, but to your parents, that you can be mature, responsible and trusted.
